| Some of Andreas Wallach's works and cooperative productions can be licensed directly from the producer(s). International broadcast, cable, satellite and home video rights are negotiable for the following documentary titles...
Program description: The Fraser River is the
world's
largest
commercially rafted river. It is four times larger than the Colorado
River
in the Grand Canyon. Only gigantic motorized pontoon rafts can handle
the
mighty turbulences of such "big water." The program features adventures
from mild to wild, as Andreas Wallach's narration touches on the
regions'
rich history. Capturing the journey through Hell's Gate and other
spectacular
natural settings, the story highlights encounters with a herd of Big
Horn
Sheep, as well as a young Black Bear, only within a paddles' reach.
Hands-on
rafting on the Thompson and a taste of kayak touring on the Nahatlatch,
lend additional glimpses into the abundant variety of adventure travel
opportunities in beautiful British Columbia, Canada (video web
streaming of this program will be available soon, on our Canada Video
page).
Program description: A special feature about
world
renowned river
expedition leader Ken Warren and the history of raft expeditions in
India.
Presented on a backdrop of photogenic India in all its splendor,
balanced
with the exotic musical theme of mystical flute enchantment. Watching
this
program is the next best thing to being there. A touching end-of-an-era
ceremony writes the final chapter in the life of adventurer Ken Warren,
as the camera follows his widow, Jan, as she returns her husband's
ashes
to the "River in the Sky." Then it is off to a celebration of life and
rafting on the Holy River Ganges. This is a must see for anyone with a
penchant for romance and adventure.
WINNER OF THE BRONZE NATURE & WILDLIFE DOCUMENTARY AWARD IN THE 1999 HOUSTON INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL Program description: Peter Byrne, a British Air Force veteran of World War II, is a former hunter of man-eating tigers in India and Nepal. He also led the Himalayan Yeti Expeditions in the 1950s and directed the 1990s research projects into the Bigfoot mystery of the Pacific Northwest, the results of which have been published in his best-selling book "The Search for Bigfoot..." In the summer of 1998, Byrne was asked to investigate evidence that suggests the existence of a small group of "swamp apes," living in the Everglades, Big Cypress and coastal islands of South Florida. Creatures, that are known to the region's Seminole Indians as Shaawanoki. The story unfolds from the perspective of a world explorer's assessment of the fact and fiction behind numerous reports that claim recent swamp ape sighting, some of them supported by eyewitness photography. Based on his over thirty years of well funded research into related phenomena, Mr. Byrne effectively delivers credible options as to the biological possibilities for an unknown species to exist in the Everglades. |
